Fastest at K-Show 2010! Orders for The New High Speed Series at K-Show
Attracting more than 3000 exhibitors and over 220,000 visitors from around the world, the tri-annual K-Show is the leading meeting point for the plastics and rubber industry. Attendees for the 2010 show, held in Düsseldorf, were treated to a particular spectacle when the new Yushin HSA was given free reign to demonstrate its awesome abilities.
The ultra high speed HSA servo traverse robot was allied with an advanced Sumitomo Demag injection moulding machine and was required to take-out Nokia cellphone housings. The HSA delivered on its promise and maintained a blistering average take-out speed of 0.32 seconds – a new show record.
The HSA Series is one of the latest breakthroughs made possible by a long term joint research project between Yushin Precision Equipment and Kyoto University. The aim of the project is to create a revolutionary Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) application that can achieve new levels of product design optimisation. Combining such an advanced package with Yushin’s engineering prowess has resulted in not only the HSA Series of servo traverse robots, but also the TSXA Series of side entry robots plus a radical new approach for end of arm tooling (EOAT) that we call Leaf Design.
The question is: What on earth will Yushin be exhibiting at K-Show 2013?
