TSXA High Speed The next generation side-entry robot
The TSXA is Yushin’s all-new side entry robot, designed and developed to achieve the world’s fastest cycle time.
Several generations ahead of the ever popular SX Series, the TSXA features a new traverse frame designed for vastly improved downstream handoffs. The highly impressive take-out speed (dry cycle) of only 0.21 seconds is 25% quicker than the SX Series. The stunning new performance is achieved through three important advances:
- Ultra lightweight design
- The fundamental way to increase speed is to reduce weight. Its a simple formula: Lower weight = Less inertia = Higher speed. However, losing weight without compromising rigidity and accuracy is not easy. Thanks to our innovative Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) application, developed with Kyoto University, we were able to identify all opportunities for weight saving that allowed the lower frame to be a staggering 38% thinner and lighter.
- Optimised end of arm tooling
- Using our advanced CAE suite we are able to define the theoretical optimum form for any tool. This allows us to achieve minimal profiles while retaining the highest resistance to mechanical stress. The results are much lower weight, higher speeds and a significant contribution to smooth and swift take-out movements.
- Unified control
- Our E-touch II control system allows a much tighter integration of both the TXSA and downstream hand-off robots, unifying their operations to achieve faster transfer speeds.
The TXSA has a traverse stroke of 2050mm and a kick stroke of 300mm. The maximum payload capacity is 3Kg, including end of arm tooling.
