As an example of our approach and capabilities, here is a recent example case that we specified:

The requirement was to first check the parts for contamination, shape and pigment density. For this we offered a custom vision inspection system. The vision system talked directly to the robot to reject any out of specification parts; if the parts were good the cycle continued.

At the next stage we were required to check whether the sealing face of the part was complete. To realise this we designed a test for the parts against six vacuum stations. The parts were pushed up to the stations by the robot whereupon a vacuum was turned on. If the vacuum level rose against a set point within a set time, the pots are packaged; if not they were to be rejected to the same point as used by rejects from the vision test.
